They met at a horse show when they were just seven years old. Mia liked Chad’s ponies. Over a decade of friendship bloomed into more when they started dating at 18. Now 25, the couple surrounded themselves with their very dearest family and friends to share the smallest and yet greatest of words …

“I do.”

We met shortly after Chad proposed to Mia and our priorities were easily identified: meaningful over gram, equestrian over country, curated over styled, romantic, formal, yet relaxed with a priority on greenery and meaningful details, as well as the venue would be Chad's family equestrian center. With the summer horse show season quickly approaching, the couple knew they wanted to start this chapter of their love story sooner rather than later after the season. This gave us just five months to create magic for this gorgeous couple at a beautiful horse farm ... by looking at the looks in Mia and Chad's eyes, we feel confident we achieved magic in this fairytale love story.

Welcome cocktails to stunning ceremony setting filled with laughter and tears, couptinis for cocktail hour followed by a surprise beer + bubbly burro leading guests to reception of social grazing on a curated collection of antiques under a 120' clear top tent filled with sparkly lighting, a chocolate music box hand-carried with love from Paris, traditional Canadian cake bites wrapped in doilies, and lounges with fire pits along paddocks, all lead to perhaps my personal favorite moment (and still makes me misty) - an unplanned, almost living room vibe of 80 guests seated for toasts which evolved organically when the father of the bride and I switched it up on the spot from microphones on a dancefloor to a half circle of chairs ensconced in glowing light and love when he sat down next to his daughter for his toast and was followed by mechanical bull kicked off the reception with dancing til almost dawn.
